Trailing suction hopper dredger WD Fairway unavailable for remainder of 2007

Subsequent to the report of 8 March 2007 about the collision between the hopper WD Fairway and the container vessel MSC Joanna, Royal Boskalis Westminster has announced that the damage to the WD Fairway is considerable and that the ship will be out of action for the remainder of 2007.
Boskalis is insured for the damage to the ship.
The unavailability of the WD Fairway will lead to a loss of turnover for the rest of 2007 of approximately € 25–30 million (approximately 2% of group turnover).
The negative impact on the result before taxation (EBIT) for 2007 will be approximately € 5-7 million on balance.
Boskalis does not expect any further losses pursuant to ongoing contracts and commitments.
