Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) from South Africa has awarded an order for a new trailing suction hopper dredger at IHC Merwede.
The dredger will have a hopper capacity of 4.200 m3, an overall length of 91 meter and a breadth of 20,8 meter.
It will be equipped with two Wartsila 6L20 main engines with a power of 2.176 kW each.
The vessel is scheduled to be delivered in February 2011.
