New cutter suction dredger Tian Kun Hao floated out in China

      

On 3 November 2017, the new cutter suction dredger (CSD) Tian Kun Hao was floated out from the dry dock of Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co. (ZPMC) in Qidong (Jiangsu province, China).

The Tian Kun Hao is being built for China Communications Construction Co.'s (CCCC) subsidiary Tianjin Dredging Company (TDC).
With a total installed of 25.843 kW and a cutter power of 6.600 kW it will be the largest and most powerful CSD ever built in China.
The new dredger has a length of 140 metres, a width of 27,8 metres and will be self-propelled.
It's maximum dredging depth will be 35 metres.

The construction of the Tian Kun Hao has now entered the outfitting stage.
It's delivery is scheduled for June 2018.
